Our Approach
We approach the challenge of designing and implementing a national digital currency comprehensively. This has meant identifying and tackling the most difficult challenges as prioritites.
Design
We’ve taken on the challenge of designing an “open” ledger system that can accept communications from any source connected to the internet.
Since our founding, we’ve designed:
- The framework for a safe and inclusive ledger system that we think is needed to implement a digital national currency.
- A security gateway for interfacing the worldwide public with the ledger system.
- A currency template that enables virtual notes (VNs) of a national digital currency to be visualizable.
- And much more!
Implementation
We are building the infrastructure for the open ledger system, starting with the cornerstone technology of security gateway processing software we are developing with support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) of the United States government.
